An AI assistant for restaurant websites
The same eight questions, every evening, while the phone is ringing and the pass is full. Answered from your own menu and your own hours.

Restaurant enquiries are extraordinarily repetitive and extraordinarily time-sensitive. Are you open. Do you take walk-ins. Is there parking. Do you have anything gluten-free. Can you do a table for nine on Saturday. Every one of them arrives at the worst possible moment for someone to answer it.
They are also all answerable from information you have already published — which is what makes this the clearest case for automation on the whole site.
It reads the menu even when the menu is a PDF
Most restaurant sites publish the menu as a PDF, and most website chatbots cannot see inside one. Eteon extracts text from PDFs during the crawl, so the menu is part of what the bot knows rather than a link it can only offer.
That single capability is the difference between answering "do you have a vegetarian main" and replying with a download link.
Allergens are a place to be careful, not confident
The bot quotes what your menu states about ingredients and allergens. Where your menu does not state something, it says the kitchen should be asked directly rather than reasoning from a dish name.
This is a hard limit and it is the right one. A guessed allergen answer is a medical risk, and no conversion is worth it.
Bookings and large groups
It answers your stated policy — party size limits, deposit requirements, notice periods — and passes anything requiring a judgement call to a person, with the conversation attached.
It does not confirm a table it has no way to confirm.
The hours question, answered at the hour it is asked
Opening hours, holiday closures and last orders are the highest-volume question and the lowest-value one to answer personally. Published once, answered indefinitely.
Frequently asked questions
Can it take a reservation?
It answers your booking policy and routes the request to you. It does not write into a booking system, and it will not tell a guest a table is held when nothing has been held.
Our menu changes weekly. Is that a problem?
Re-crawl after you publish the new menu and the bot moves with it. If the menu is a PDF, the new PDF is read on the next crawl.
What happens when it does not know the answer?
It says so and offers to hand the conversation to a person, with the transcript attached. It does not compose an answer from the shape of the question — which is the failure mode that matters for restaurants, because a guessed allergen or a guessed opening time is a guest turning up to a closed door, or worse.
How long does setup take?
Enter your website URL, let it crawl, then paste one script tag into your site. Most sites are answering questions within a minute of the crawl finishing.
What does it cost?
Eteon Starter is ₹2,999 a month for 20,000 messages, with a 7-day free trial. No per-seat fee and no per-resolution fee, so automating more conversations does not raise the bill.
